About the Artist

Kathryn Robinson

Kathryn Robinson - Biography

Born creative as a child having an imaginary play mate, coloring and drawing with me even on the walls! Seeing imaginary scenes in my mind and thinking if I could just keep going I would find the end of the rainbow.
As CS Lewis said “Nothing is by mere coincidence“ Met the artist who taught George W. Bush to paint and she believed in me. As she said “if you are to paint you have to paint with passion!” She was right! Never been happier!
Most of my time I spend in the low country with a panoramic view of the marsh in my Studio 61 in Pawleys Island or in my studio Center Park Studio on Daniel Island amid the historic city of  Charleston. Traveling abroad seeing the quaint towns and beautiful countrysides. Inspiration everywhere!

So you can say I have found the end of the rainbow! Walking hand in hand with God on my art journey. As always He has been faithful.
My hope is that when someone looks at my painting and sees a sunrise, or a bend on the road, a path in the woods or a bud about to bloom they experience hope. Knowing that there is always something good in store for them. Expecting to find it!
Gods grace is extended to everyone. His creation surrounds us revealing His glory. Stepping out in faith and belief they too will find the end of the rainbow because it is found in Him.
My paintings hang in collections from the East coast to the West coast and abroad. My desire is that I can reach as many people as possible to spread the Word of hope and joy.
